About this raffle

Supporting healthier Queensland communities All monies raised through our raffle, silent auction and table flowers will contribute to the AMA Queensland Foundation’s Christmas appeal supporting our Community Grants program. With your support, innovative and grass-roots projects that improve the health and wellbeing of Queenslanders will be given a helping hand to get off the ground or expand their impact.  About our Community Grants program In 2027 the Foundation‘s annual grants program will target projects that improve health and wellbeing outcomes for Queenslanders. Grants of up to $20,000 will be available to fund key Queensland projects that reflect the Foundation’s priorities.  Improving access to timely and appropriate medical care, especially in rural, remote and underserved communities.  Improving patient health outcomes through medical research translated into clinical practice. Growing a more capable, diverse and sustainable medical workforce through improved education, training, development and wellbeing initiatives.  Grant applications will begin in June 2027, and the number of grants we can offer will be determined by the support we receive today! Your contribution today will see more great ideas turn into meaningful change. If you have an upcoming project that needs funding and you would like to register your interest ahead of the grant round, you are welcome to reach out to the Foundation for more information amaqfoundation@amaq.com.au
