Friends of New Hope India Australia Raffles
Friends of New Hope India - Australia supports New Hope India’s vision of becoming sustainable through fundraising, donations and sponsorship. We are run entirely by volunteers. All of the funds we raise go towards: The care and education of children and students, many who have been with New Hope India since they were babies or small children; Tribal and Village Health Care which includes a travelling Health Care Team supporting remote area residents with eye surgery, immunisation and healthcare through their lives; Namaste House which supports young people and adults living with disabilities; and Projects including: a solar bore, whipper snippers, chicken structures, and irrigation supplies for watering plants and livestock to support New Hope's vision of sustainability for its Agricultural Project; Multipurpose Centre for people with disabilities and tribal women in Muniguda; and one off items such as sewing machines to start microbusinesses. New Hope India is a non-government organisation registered and founded with the Government of India since 1985. New Hope India works with, and for, the poor and disadvantaged, prioritising women and children. New Hope provides a safe home, healthcare and education to some of the most remote and disenfranchised people in India, including those with disabilities, orphaned, HIV+, leprosy patients and those living in poverty in Muniguda, Odisha (formerly Orissa) and Kothavalsa Andhra Pradesh.
