About this raffle

We are so excited to be opening Hygieia House, in the Northern Rivers NSW. This is our first manifestation of our longer term dream of creating an independent birthing hospital. We've opened Hygieia House to support women, families and birth workers who deserve better than the system has been giving them. We began our journey ten years ago in the Northern Rivers, when a gathering of mothers and midwives refused to accept the current state of the maternity system. What started as a community became a crisis line, then a movement, and now, a home.Here, birth is held the way it should be: with continuity of care, presence, and trust. A community hub for pregnancy, birth and postpartum. A place of refuge for new mothers. A place of connection and education for birth workers."Peace on Earth begins at Birth."
