Support Our Excellence Academy Students to Get Uncomfortable for a CauseMiami State High School Excellence Academy students are taking on the Nedd Brockmann 122 Uncomfortable Challenge, raising awareness and funds to support Australians experiencing homelessness.Every night, approximately 122,000 Australians experience homelessness. The 122 Challenge encourages participants to step outside their comfort zone, challenge themselves and make a positive difference for people doing it tough.On Friday 16 October, our Year 7–11 Excellence Academy students will work in pairs to complete a series of physically and mentally demanding challenges inspired by the number 122, including a 12.2 km team run, 122 push-ups, burpees, box jumps, wall balls, chin-ups and bear crawls, as well as a 122-second ice bath.For our students, this challenge is about much more than physical performance. It is an opportunity to develop resilience, leadership, empathy and service, reinforcing our belief that excellence is demonstrated through character and a willingness to embrace discomfort in pursuit of growth.Support the ChallengePurchase a raffle ticket and help our students turn their discomfort into something meaningful.Every ticket purchased supports the cause and helps make a difference for Australians experiencing homelessness.Thank you for getting behind our students and supporting the 122 Uncomfortable Challenge.
