St Gabriel's School Raffles
St Gabriel’s School was founded 100 years ago as a school for the deaf and broadened its admissions to welcome children with special needs in 2010. These include students with a mild to moderate intellectual disability, as well as students who are deaf or hard of hearing; blind or have low vision; have autism and other disabilities. We deliver core primary and secondary education, including numeracy and literacy, as well as subjects to develop social skills and communication. Unlike other special needs services, St Gabriel’s strives to deliver a tailored curriculum in a purpose‑built environment that enables the most positive outcomes for our students. Our vision is to enrich the hearts and minds of young people with special needs for active participation in their community. Our mission is to nurture independence in our students and establish skills to enable enriched lives, post‑school employment and community participation.
