West End State School Parents and Carers' Association Raffles
The West End State School Parents & Citizens Association (WESS P&C) is a dedicated group of parent and carer volunteers, supported by office staff, who together employ more than 60+ staff to operate key community services including the Tuckshop, Café, Uniform Shop, Tennis Court Hire, Swim Club and Outside School Hours Care. Profits from these services - along with our fundraising and community-building activities such as the Colour Fun Run, Carers’ Day events and stalls, trivia nights, raffles and movie nights—are reinvested directly into the school. This support enhances the resources, opportunities, programs and facilities already provided through the school and the Department of Education, helping our students thrive. The P&C Committee is elected annually at the Annual General Meeting and is made up entirely of volunteers who generously contribute their time, skills and energy to strengthen our school community. The Association includes both the P&C Executive team and its broader membership body, ensuring families have a voice in shaping the future of WESS. West End State School is an independent public school with a vibrant and diverse community of more than 1,500+ students representing over 60 nationalities. The school is committed to providing a holistic educational experience that blends strong academic learning with rich cultural and community connections. The WESS P&C proudly works alongside the school to support its educational, social and community goals.
